A TOP stationery retailer will open up in Glasgow City Centre in time for the kids returning to school.
Smiggle has taken up a unit in Buchanan Galleries and will open on August 15.
The Australian brand already has stores in Glasgow Fort, Silverburn and Braehead shopping centre.
They first opened up in the UK in February, 2014.
John Cheston, managing director of Smiggle, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our store here in Glasgow. We’ve done our homework here at Smiggle and spent many hours scouting out the best locations for our fans so knew that Glasgow was the place to be.
“I’m thrilled that we’re opening our doors on August 15 just in time for fans to get kitted out as they head back to school. We can’t wait to see fans reactions to the ranges for this school term.”
Kathy Murdoch, centre manager at Buchanan Galleries, added: “Smiggle will be a brilliant addition to the Buchanan Galleries retail offering here, in the heart of Glasgow. I'm sure our customers will be thrilled to see the popular stationery brand open within the centre, with kids big and small eager to try their fun products."
