A MAJOR shopping centre on Glasgow's plush style mile has launched a shopping rewards scheme.
Princes Square has launched its first loyalty app giving shoppers a chance to earn points for visting the centre.
The My PRINCES SQUARE app will also allow customers to log onto the free WiFi and attend events throughout the year.
The points will give users access to exclusive treats, extras and offers from the centre’s top restaurants, bars and retailers. The app, which can be downloaded from both Apple and Android platforms, is the first time the centre has used this technology to reward customers.
The app will officially launch as Princes Square kicks off its 30th birthday celebrations on May 4 with an instant win competition.
Anyone in the centre on the bank holiday weekend, 4 to 7 May, between 11am and 4pm, who show competition staff the downloaded app on their phone will win from a host of special prizes.
Katie Moody, from Princes Square, said: “Shopping and dining at Princes Square is already a delight due to our unique surroundings right at the heart of Glasgow’s city centre and we wanted to make that experience even more rewarding for our customers. Visitors to Princes Square will earn points from the moment they walk in our doors which can then be exchanged for fantastic offers that may include a glass of fizz with lunch or a discount on matching shoes for the dress you’ve just bought. Our app will be officially launched during our birthday celebrations which will see the centre truly come alive with live entertainment, photographic exhibition and a pop-up courtyard bar.
