Shrek fans are heading into the city centre this weekend for an ogre themed rave.
Revellers will take over the Classic Grand on Saturday, September 16, to party DreamWorks style.
Fans will be dressing up as characters from the cult classic and can expect live performances from West End professionals.
The event promises to bring out Glaswegians inner ogre with onion eating competitions, dance offs, singalongs, and Shrek style giveaways.
The movie's legendary soundtrack will also be heavily featured across the six hour party, along with other popular hits.
The rave is strictly 18+ and kicks off at 9pm with punters enjoying themed cocktails and prizes for best costume.
Organisers are offering more tickets after the first two batches quickly sold out with customers forking out around £25 for the chance to party like Shrek.
The Glasgow Times will also be attending the event to photograph and speak to enthusiastic ravers.
Organisers said: “Whether you're a die-hard Shrek fan or just looking for an unforgettable night of music, dance, and laughter, SHREK RAVE is the event you won't want to miss!
“Grab your friends and come dressed as your favourite Shrek Character.
It's a six hour party that combines dance music and live performances from our Shrek Performers.
“Our Shrek Performers (Shrek, Donkey, Fairy Godmother and Fiona) have all previously worked in the west end.
“They will sing the biggest tracks from the Shrek soundtrack.
“Our DJ and host will then combine Shrek inspired games, like onion eating competitions, far far away idol, dance offs, with rave intervals playing high energy, popular dance music between the live performances.
“Immerse yourself in the whimsical world of Shrek with stunning visuals that will transport you straight to the swamp and beyond.
“Mark your calendar and get ready to rave with Shrek and the gang at the most enchanting party of the year!
“Tickets are limited, so secure yours today and be part of this once-in-a-lifetime event.”
