Strictly Come Dancing professionals Aljaž Škorjanec, Giovanni Pernice and Gorka Marquez will waltz their way into Glasgow this Sunday for Here Come The Boys.

The setting is a club, and the challenge is to find out who’s best on the dance floor when the boys perform at Glasgow Concert Halls at 7.30pm.

They are here to impress, willing us to cheer them on, as they go head to head in a dance-off! Battling each other every night, in Latin, Ballroom, commercial and contemporary! They need you to decide who is the champion.

And while there is no doubt the boys can bust a move on the dancefloor, did you know these 11 amazing facts about them?

Glasgow Times:

1. Aljaz is married to professional dancer Janette Manrara...

Jenette, 35, and Aljaz, 29, joined the cast of Strictly in 2013 for the 11th series of the BBC One programme.

They married in 2017 in three ceremonies in London, Miami and Skorjanec’s native Slovenia.

2. He is also a doting uncle...

Our hearts melt at all the pictures of him with his niece. His sister Lara is mum to daughter Zala, and the cute tot features heavily in his Instagram snaps. He has also said in interviews that he looks forward to starting his own family one day. He said: "I’ve felt broody for the last 10 years since I met Janette, I've always wanted kids.”

3. Aljaz was once partnered with former Hollyoakes actress and model Gemma Atkinson on Strictly...

The pair finished second during season 15 of the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing and Gemma later went on to date Here Come The Boys dancer Gorka.

4. Gorka is expecting his first child with Gemma...

After finding love on the show, Gorka, 28, and Gemma, 34, announced in February that they were expecting their first child together. The first met on the show in 2017 and more than two years on they are about to become parents.

5. The Here Come The Boys dancers hail from different countries...

But the universal language of dance bounds them together. Spanish Gorka was born in Bilbao. He began dancing at 12 and even represented Spain at the World Latin Championships in 2010. Italian stalion Giovanni, 28, hails from Sicily and at the age of 14 he moved to Bologna to concentrate on dance while Aljaz is originally from Slovenia. He is a 19-time Slovenian champion in Ballroom, Latin and Ten Dance.

6. Giovanni found love with a former Pussycat Doll...

Ashley Roberts might have been partnered with Pasha Kovalev during her Strictly stint. But the gorgeous Pussycat Doll star later found love with Giovanni. Lucky girl!

7. Sorry folks, the abs don't come easy...

The life of a professional dancer requires dedication...and a lot of time in the gym. Spanish hunk Gorka regularly shares his workouts with his followers on Instagram, and we are just tired watching him.

Glasgow Times:

8. Gorka saves the day...

The Strictly die-hards might remember the Spanish hunk stepped in to help singer Anastacia after her professional partner Brendan Cole fell ill. Our hero!

9. Born to dance...

Aljaz grew up in a small town in Slovenia. He started dancing at just five years old, signing himself up for dance lessons in nursery without his parents’ knowledge. Looks like that worked out well.

10. Slovenia TV star...

Aljaž also previously starred on Slovenia’s Dancing With the Stars. Now we wonder if there is any footage on YouTube?

11. Tattoo destiny...

Giovanni has a tattoo on his arm, 'Nato Per Vincere’ meaning ‘Born To Win’. We think he was born to dance.
