GLASGOW is to host a pop up exhibition aimed at breaking down misconceptions about the internet.
Our Digital Planet, an exhibition of 24 images demonstrating the power of the internet to change our lives for the better, is coming to Sauchiehall Street.
It opens today and runs until Monday, November 26 and is organised by Nominet Trust.
At the exhibition, at the corner of Hope Street and Sauchiehall Street, visitors who have never used the internet, or who are not confident online, will have the opportunity to get online with guided support.
Annika Small, head of the Nominet Trust, said: "The internet is a powerful social tool.
"It can alleviate isolation among the elderly, bring together communities around a common cause and provide a platform for new businesses to get off the ground and give easy access to a whole range of services."
