PARTICK THISTLE boss Alan Archibald last night completed a double signing swoop by landing Bolton midfielder Gary Fraser and former St Mirren youngster Ross Meechan.
Fraser has penned a six-month loan deal days after finalising his move to the Reebok Stadium. The player, who turned 19 earlier this month, began his career in the youth ranks with Celtic before moving to Hamilton.
He spent the first part of pre-season with Thistle playing in the friendly matches against Gateshead and Annan, scoring twice in the 5-1 victory over the latter.
Right-back Meechan will be part of the Jags Under-20 side after agreeing a one-year deal.
Heading out of Firhill, however, is Mark McGuigan, with the striker joining Albion Rovers on loan until January.
