THE Krankies and John Barrowman are back at the Clyde Auditorium for this year's panto, Dick McWhittington.
It's a partnership that has worked for the last four seasons. However, Krankies star Ian Tough revealed some time was spent in debating exactly which panto to stage.
He said: "The producers thought about doing Robin Hood, until it was pointed out it was too much of an English story and the Scots would probably boo Robin and cheer the Sheriff of Nottingham.
"Then we settled on Dick Whittington. But with a reverse storyline in which Dick travels up from London to find his fortune in Glasgow."
The Krankies play Cooncillor Krankie and Wee Jimmy Krankie. John Barrowman will play Dick McWhittington
