THE latest athletes to be selected for Team Scotland brought a touch of sparkle to Glasgow's most dramatic new venue.
Three rhythmic gymnasts, the first Scottish team to compete in a Common-wealth Games since 1998, showed off their moves outside The Hydro.
Victoria Clow, Rebecca Bee and Lauren Brash were joined by the latest members of the Team's squash squad to be announced.
The news brings the total team Scotland number selected so far to 52, with an anticipated final team of around 270.
Victoria, 19, from Giffnock, made her Games debut at Delhi 2010, finishing 14th in the Individual All-Round Final, and has been aiming for Glasgow ever since.
But she broke her back in 2011, spending a year in recovery - and now she is fighting fit.
She said: "Since the last Games in Delhi my goal has been to get to the next one and I am just really happy I have managed to achieve it."
Paisley-born Kevin Moran, Stuart Craw-ford, originally of Irvine, and Greg Lobb-an complete the seven-strong squash team.
