STUDENTS of housing studies at Stirling University were given a tour of the former Athletes' Village in Dalmarnock.
It's one of Glasgow's biggest ever housing projects and students were told that East End families are to move in soon.
Thenue chiefs have bought 200 houses for local tenants. Kitchens are having to be installed in all of them since Commonwealth athletes all ate together in communal dining areas.
Beth Reilly, head of property services at Thenue, said: "We were delighted to host this visit which hopefully gave the students an insight into how these properties will become home to 200 families."
