FOUR city firms based in one of Scotland's most successful regeneration areas have been nominated for Glasgow Business Awards.

Vanilla Blush, MadeBrave, WEST Brewery and W J Clow are all based in Clyde Gateway which is changing the face and fortunes of the East End

and South Lanarkshire.

They have been recognised in the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce awards for their success over the last year.

Digital creative agency MadeBrave, hopes to take home the Evening Times Award for Glasgow's Favourite Business while Vanilla Blush, which specialises in lingerie and swimwear for people who have had a colostomy or ileostomy, will battle it out to win the accolade of Glasgow Business Award for Best Performing Business.

Independent bar, restaurant and brewer WEST Brewery is hoping to scoop the Glasgow Business Award for Creative Marketing, with engineering firm W J Clow aiming to be named the winner of the Glasgow Business Award for Family Business of the Year.

Fionna Kell, senior manager for inward investment and property marketing at Clyde Gateway, said: “We are first and foremost delighted four successful, hard-working and talented business located within Clyde Gateway have been nominated for these prestigious awards, with our entire team wishing them all the very best at the final ceremony.
