A cheeky Celtic fan has become a viral hit after poking fun at Rangers by holding an image of hector the taxman on The One Show last night.

The woman, who was wearing a Celtic top, was one of many Hoops' fans who were in the audience to see one of the Parkhead's most famous supporters - Rod Stewart - and it appears she took the opportunity to recognise the taxman winning its case against the Ibrox club's former owners yesterday.

Hector the taxman was once the face of the Inland Revenue before he was sent to retirement in 2011. The late Sir Alex Guinness voiced the character in the Government department's television advertisements.

The woman holding the image on The One Show instantly became a viral hit as Celtic fans 'praised' her cheeky stunt.

During the live show, Celtic fans also managed to get a rendition of the club's famous Come On You Boys in Green chant as presenters Alex Jones and Matt Baker struggled to keep things under control.
