The Loose Women panel issued an apology after Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey swore during a live interview.
Katie, who is a panellist on the ITV show, brought her eldest son Harvey onto the programme as part of a discussion about internet trolls.
The 13-year-old, who is visually impaired, autistic and suffers from Prader–Willi syndrome, has frequently been the target of online abuse.
He used the c-word while Katie spoke to him about people who had targeted him.
Katie, 37, asked him: “If someone says something horrible to Harvey, what does Harvey say?”

The teen responded: “Hello, c***.”
Panellist Andrea McLean immediately said: “We apologise for that. But this is one of the reasons that we wanted to do this live.”
She and Katie had explained at the start of the interview that they had been determined to show the chat with Harvey live, rather than arrange a pre-recording.
Former glamour model Katie said: “I want people to see what he’s like, not manufacture and edit what he’s like.”
Later, Andrea added: “We have to apologise, obviously, for the language that you heard a little bit earlier on.”
Mum-of-five Katie has previously called for online trolls to appear on Loose Women and defend themselves. She has also named and shamed the internet commentators who have created cruel memes and left vile messages about her son.

She hinted that she had been doing “lots of stuff behind the scenes” and warned trolls who had targeted Harvey that they should expect “a surprise coming up”.
Harvey joined the Loose Women on the sofa, where he kissed his mother and answered questions from the panellists – as well as guest Piers Morgan.
Katie asked: “We don’t like people being horrible. Harvey’s a happy boy isn’t he?”
Harvey responded: “Hurray!”

The teenager, who is the son of footballer Dwight Yorke, told Piers about his favourite train and explained to Janet Street-Porter that he is not interested in football – but supports his younger brother, Junior.
Katie added: “I know Harvey looks big and he could look intimidating, he’s just got such a heart of gold. He wouldn’t know how to hurt someone. He’s all about love.”
