Is Calvin Harris moving on from Taylor Swift with R&B singer Tinashe?

According to numerous reports, the 32-year-old Scottish DJ is getting close to R&B singer Tinashe, 23.

A source told Page Six that they were “casually” seeing each other “on the down low”, weeks after his very public break-up from the Bad Blood hit-maker.

Calvin and Tinashe have known each other since 2014, when they worked together on the music producer’s track Dollar Signs, from his fourth studio album Motion.

Tinashe, who is best known for her hits 2 On and All My Friends – for which she won an Ivor Novello Award in the Best Contemporary Song category this year – provided the vocals on the EDM song.

The musical duo also worked together on a 2015 track entitled 5AM, from their time working in the studio together.

At the time, Calvin shared a snap of the two of them cosying up together in the studio on Instagram, the picture still on his timeline following his removal of every shot of his ex Taylor from his page.

“They have been seeing each other on the DL. It’s only been weeks, so it’s still pretty casual right now. They’ve been on a few dates,” an insider allegedly told the New York Post’s gossip section.

Speaking of their initial working relationship, the source added: “They stayed in touch and recently started hanging out again.”

It was also reported that they were seen on a date together in top eatery Nobu in Malibu on Saturday, with an onlooker suggesting they looked “super close”.

However, according to Us Weekly, their date was down to her wanting to discuss music, with a source adding that “Calvin is so into her and thinks she’s cute”.

An insider close to the DJ is quoted as saying: “It was just going out. No idea where it will end up going.”

Taylor and Calvin split at the end of May after a 15-month relationship and, although they initially insisted there was no drama in the break-up, things have since soured.

Last week, the 26-year-old singer revealed she had secretly penned Calvin’s chart-topping track This Is What You Came For, which caused him to retaliate on Twitter.

He confirmed that his former flame had written the song under a pseudonym, but also praised her for “smashing it as usual”.

Taylor has since moved on very quickly into a romance with British actor Tom Hiddleston.

Representatives for Calvin and Tinashe have been contacted by the Press Association for comment.
