Players have had to be led off the pitch twice as the Aberdeen v Motherwell Scottish Premiership match was dogged by a lights failure.
The first failure occurred no more than five minutes into the match at Pittodrie.
One light-hearted online wit suggested the Aberdeen board might want to put some coins in the electricity meter.

After a hold up of two minutes the lights were back on again.

But after a players warm up, the game had barely lasted a further two minutes before the stadium was in darkness again.
The players left the field and Motherwell staff are hoping the match is not going to be abandoned for the sake of the travelling fans.
The players have now left the field again. Hopefully this can resume, especially for the 'Well fans who have made the long journey North

But after the second interruption the game was abandoned with the score at 0-0.
Motherwell apologised to travelling fans saying the situation was "outwith our control". Those travelling from North Lanarkshire will have had a 300 mile round trip for not even ten minutes of football.
