But Sky Sports had a rather spectacular fail on that front last night as they claimed Aberdeen had signed 'Turkish midfielder Yerdas Selzavon' thanks to a spot of masterful social media trolling.

Rather than anyone the Dons would want to see in their starting 11, Yer Da Sells Avon is a popular phrase of derision in the rich Scottish lexicon, made famous in this instance thanks to parody Twitter account AberdeennFC.
