An investigation has been launched after a young woman was raped in Elderslie.
The attack happened on Monday at a footpath near Wallace Primary School in Elderslie.
Officers have cordoned off an area near the school in the search for evidence.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "On Monday February 20, police received a report of a serious sexual assault on a 27-year-old woman in Elderslie.
"Inquiries are continuing."
