A telephone scam targeting internet users is being reported across parts of Glasgow.
Fraudsters posing as BT Openreach engineers are asking customers about their internet speeds, claiming that they have noticed unusually low bandwith.
The scam alert was first reported across parts of England earlier this month with recipients of the fraudulent calls taking to Twitter to raise the alarm.
Two calls today pretending to be from BT Openreach saying they have detected problems with our router. Apparently a newish scam. Be aware.
