Cops are continuing to seek a “skinny” man after he tried to rob a post office in Sandyhills on Wednesday.
Officers said the male entered the premises in Amulree Street, threatened a female member of staff, and demanded money from her.
The incident happened at around 2.20pm.
However, the man left the post office empty-handed and was last seen in Grampian Street.
It is believed that he may have gotten into a white car.
He is described as white, 30 to 40-years-old, 5ft, and of skinny build.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a dark blue coloured hooded top, dark jeans. and black training shoes.
Anyone who may have seen this man hanging around the area at the time, or anyone who recognises his description is asked to contact police at the Community Investigation Unit at Govan via 101.
