DOZENS of fire fighters tackled a late night blaze at a block of flats.
Emergency services were called about smoke coming from a three story block around 9.05pm yesterday.
The blaze started at flats in Antonine Gate, Duntocher and a probe has now been launched.
At its peak, 30 fire fighters were battling the flames and some are still on the scene this morning.
Mounds of debris, including what appears to be insulation, could be seen strewn across the front of the building and the area has been cordoned off.
Police are now working with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to establish the cause.
A spokesman said: "At 9.05pm on Sunday, April 30, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to reports of a fire in a three storey block of flats in Antonine Gait, Duntocher.
“At its height, eight appliances and more than 30 firefighters were in attendance.
"One appliance remains at the scene as crews make the area safe.
“There were no casualties.
“The SFRS will carry out a joint investigation with Police Scotland to determine the cause of the fire.”
