Police have released a picture of a man they have deemed vital to their investigation into a serious assault which took place outside a popular Glasgow pub.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image can help with their inquiries in to the incident where a 52-year-old man was attacked on Christmas Eve outside the Variety Bar.
He is described as being in his early 20s with brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue coloured jacket, blue jeans and white and black trainers.
The 52-year-old was assaulted around 12.40am and required hospital treatment for his injuries.
Officers are appealing to anyone who recognises the male to contact them as soon as possible.
Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland Greater Glasgow CID on 101.
