GLOW star Brian Matthews had his assault trial adjourned until later this after funding for his defence wasn't in place.
It is alleged the 32-year-old from the Merchant City, repeatedly punched Martin Morrison on the head last July in High Street.
Umar Hussain represented Matthews when he appeared at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace Court for trial today.
There was a joint motion to adjourn due to a prosecution witness being unavailable and Matthews' legal aid application not completed.
Mr Hussain said: “From a defence point of view funding is not in place.”
He said he will pass on to his client what the legal aid board have asked for.
Matthews was told it is "very important" he complies with instructions to "further his legal aid application".
He denies the charge and will return to the dock later this year for trial.
