The West End is the place to be this Christmas with the big lights switch-on set to bigger and better than ever.
With more entertainment, shops, and businesses coming together to make the annual festive showcase one to remember, goers are being urged to pen the date in their diaries.
Vinicombe Street will be the centre of all the fun as it’s transformed into a winter wonderland, with a popup entertainment stage with live musical performances from local bands and rock choirs setting the Christmas feel-good mood.

As already reported by the Evening Times, Bella - the mascot from the Beatson Cancer Charity - will light up the 20-foot Christmas tree in a new partnership with the Beatson.
It will allow Glasgow to remember a loved one this Christmas through unique festive baubles and cards, with all proceeds going to the much-needed cancer charity.

The big switch-on event will take place on Sunday, November 26 from noon to 7pm in Vinicombe Street and its surrounding lanes.
The celebrations will begin with a Christmas market where local traders will be offering gifts, crafts, and plenty of food and drink.
Entertainment on the main stage is from 2.30pm with choirs, covers, and “bags of festive cheer.”
The family fun will carry on all day in lanes Cresswell, Ruthven, and Ashton.
