COPS have launched a major search for a man who has vanished from a mental health facility in Hamilton.
Mark Russell, 33, was last seen leaving Beckford Lodge in Caird Street at around 3.20pm on Wednesday, November 8.
He is understood to have been heading in the direction of Hamilton Retail Park.
Mark is described as 6ft 4 inches in height and of stocky build with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a black polo shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Inspector Stevie Conn from Hamilton Police Station said: "Enquiries are ongoing to find Mark as quickly as possible and I would appeal to the local community in Hamilton to assist our investigation.
"If anyone has seen a man matching Mark's description in the area, or indeed further afield, please get in touch with the police.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Hamilton Police Station via 101 and quote incident number 2020 of Wednesday 8th November 2017."
