FORMER Rangers star Fernando Ricksen will be flying to Glasgow to take part in a charity event.
The 51-year-old footballing hero, who suffers from motor neurone disease, will be taking part in the night which is raising money for his foundation.
Other former players including Willie Henderson will also be making a guest appearance at the event at the Ibrox Suite, Ibrox Stadium on November 18.
Organiser Pauline Glen became friends with Fernando after he struck up a friendship with her son Declan.
Various other Rangers players have endorsed the event including Alan Hutton, who is hoping to make an appearance on the night.
Former player Allan McGregor has sent two sets of goalie gloves for the raffle.
Tickets are priced at £28 including a buffet and are available from Pauline on paulineglen7@gmail.com
