THREE men were injured during a disturbance in a house in Port Glasgow this morning.
The men, aged 66, 29 and 24 were rushed to Inverclyde Royal from Slaemuir Avenue at around 1.25am.
As reported by the Greenock Telegraph, Detective Sergeant Alex Allardyce said he was still trying to establish what actually happened but police are treating the incident as two serious assaults.
He said: "All three were conveyed to hospital.
"The 29-year-old and 24-year-old sustained injuries to the face and body.
"It is believed weapons were involved.
"The injuries are non life-threatening and the men have since been discharged."
He said the men were known to each other and is appealing for witnesses.
