Following on from Saturday's Teddy Toss players from the Braehead Clan visited the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow to deliver the cuddly bears.

The teddies were donated by fans of the home team and visitors, Coventry Blaze.

Players Ville Hämäläinen, Brendan Brooks, Adam Brace and Bari McKenzie, went along to spread some much needed Christmas cheer amongst the babies and children, some of whom will be spending Christmas in the hospital.

The players said the visit was both a humbling and rewarding experience, with everyone delighted to be able to put a smile on the faces of the children and their families.

Clan captain Ville Hämäläinen said: “We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the hospital and it was a privilege to meet all the babies, children and their families.

“It was a great experience to hand out the soft toys that has been kindly donated by the Purple Army and Coventry fans at Saturday’s game, seeing all the happy faces and smiles.”
