URBAN Union want to build more flats in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.

The firm want to build 28 flats with associated landscaping, access road and parking on the site of a former MOT test centre.

Urban Union previously build flats and houses on an area nearby where the Stirlingfauld Place high rise towers stood.

Those flats were demolished in 2008 to make way for new homes, and now Urban Union have unveiled plans for more on Bedford Street.

Urban Union is a joint venture partnership between McTaggart Construction Ltd and Robertson Group Holdings.

The company was established to take forward large scale regeneration projects across Scotland and is currently developing three mixed use communities including the Laurieston in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.

The land is currently derelict and a decision is expected by March.
