THE first Scot to wrestle for the WWE will be inducted into the Hall of Fame of Scotland’s biggest wrestling promotion.
Drew McIntyre, who is also known as Drew Galloway, started his career with Insane Championship Wrestling and became the promotion’s inaugural Heavyweight Champion in 2006.
The Ayr-born star joined WWE in 2007, won the Intercontinental Title and the Tag Titles, before going back to his home promotion in 2014.
Not long after this, Drew won the ICW Heavyweight Title and held it for over a year before signing with the WWE again.
And last April he signed up with the prestigious NXT brand.
Drew will be inducted into the ICW Hall of Fame on Monday, February 12 at the company’s biggest ever Fight Club taping at the Glasgow ABC.
He follows Carmel Jacobs as the only other individual to achieve this honour.
Tickets for this event can be found on the O2 ABC's website.
