TWO people were taken to hospital following a a house fire in Bishopbriggs.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Clelland Avenue at around 7.09am on Monday.
Two people were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary.
Police cordoned off the road and said the fire was no suspicious.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to reports of a house fire at 7.09am on Monday, February 12.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to Clelland Avenue, Bishopbriggs, where firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Two casualties suffering from slight smoke inhalation were treated at the scene by firefighters.
“One casualty, plus an additional member of the public, were thereafter transferred into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and transported to Glasgow’s Royal Infirmary.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area had been made safe.”
