A VEGAN cafe in the city's East End has been forced to close due to financial pressures.
The owners of Kind Crusts, on Duke Street, in Dennistoun said it was with a "very heavy heart," that they were shutting the cafe on March 18.
They will be offering discounted snacks and a, "tonne of donuts," from Thursday to Sunday to help sell-off stock and said they were hoping to find new owners for the business.
In a post on Facebook, the owners said: "It comes with a very heavy heart to state this news, but Kind Crusts has been forced to close its doors.
"To put it simply, we just aren't making enough money and the past few months of financial drought within the economy has bled through our resources.
"We want to thank all of you lovely, loyal customers who have been with Kind Crusts from the beginning.
"We welcome you down to the store Thursday - Sunday to help us celebrate and say farewell to Kind Crusts.
"We will be offering a slightly changed menu, a tonne of doughnuts and discounted price snacks and drinks to help us reduce the amount of stock we have left."
