Television personality, Kirsty Gallacher has joined the many people wishing Rangers hero Ray Wilkins a speedy recovery.
The 42-year-old took to social media to send her thoughts and prayers to "the loveliest man in football".
The presenter, who works on Sky Sports News and is divorced from ex-rugby union player Paul Sampson admitted that the former football star had supported her and her family through a tough time when her dad took unwell.
In a Tweet she said: "Sending so much love & strength to the loveliest man in football #RayWilkins & his wonderful family from the Gallachers.
"When my Dad was unwell a few yrs ago Ray was so kind & supportive. Now it’s our turn... We are praying for you Ray, sending so much love."

As previously reported by the Evening Times, the 61-year-old is currently fighting for his life after falling in the wake of a cardiac arrest.
The hospital were forced to put the ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and AC Milan player in an induced coma and he is reportedly critically ill.
