A RUSH-HOUR Glasgow train service has broken down causing travel chaos.
Rail engineers rushed to resolve the fault behind the breakdown on at Carluke, which was heading towards Glasgow.
UPDATE: The crew have been unable to fix the fault, so we’re going to use the 0736 Carstairs – Garscadden service behind it to move it clear of the line. Sorry for the delay if you’re on board these services. ^CT

But they were unable to do so, meaning the 7.36am service from Carstairs to Garscadden behind the broken down train will be used to clear the line.
ScotRail apologised for the delay to passengers.
