A HOTEL is offering free iced coffee if the heatwave hits Glasgow.
Apex City of Glasgow Hotel, on Bath Street will offer locals and guests a coffee if temperatures hit 18C this week.
Yesterday, temperatures in southern England hits 20C and above, but forecasters aren’t predicting much more than 16C in Glasgow today and tomorrow.
Angela Vickers, CEO of Apex Hotels, said: “After what feels like a very long winter, we’re delighted to hear that spring is making an appearance, and we hope the mini-heatwave makes its way north of the border.”
