A MAN has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 32-year-old in Glasgow's East End.
Police Scotland confirmed today that that they made an arrest after a 32-year-old man was hit by a car in Riddrie.
He taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary after the incident on Cumbernauld Road on Tuesday afternoon.
He is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Prior to the incident, officers were called to a report of a disturbance on Smithycroft Road.
The man is expected to appear in court in due course.
