A group of six thugs left a man with serious facial injuries after attacking him outside a city centre takeaway.
The 25-year-old victim was walking along Sauchiehall Street, near NY Slice, with a friend around 1.20am on Friday June 8, when an altercation broke out.
One the group attacked the man for reasons which are still unknown.
The injured man attended Hairmyres Hospital the next day where he was treated for serious facial injuries. His friend was not injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as white, with dark hair, a medium build and wearing dark skinny jeans, a dark grey coloured t-shirt and a black zipper jacket.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV images from the area and are appealing for any witnesses.
Detective Constable Vikki Reid said: “We have still to establish why this man was assaulted. He suffered serious facial injuries in the attack and I am appealing to people who were in Sauchiehall Street around the time of the incident to come forward.
"If anyone noticed the group of young men or witnessed the attack then please get in touch, your information could prove vital to our enquiries.”

"Anyone with information is asked to call CID officers at City Centre Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 0206 of 8 June 2018. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously."
