THIS is the moment police rushed to secure a dangerous Pollokshaws building.
Storm Hector wreaked havoc throughout Glasgow this morning causing dozens of train cancellations and road closures due to fallen trees.
However, one south side building was also affected as its rendering was ripped off by the 70mph gale force winds.
Due to a dangerous building Pollokshaws Road is reduced to one lane in both directions between Albert Drive and Nithsdale Drive.

The Met Office said injuries and a danger to life is “likely” in coastal areas in Northern Ireland, with the chance of large waves and potential for beach debris to end up on roads, sea fronts and properties.
People have been advised to take care during rush hour with potential disruption due to fallen trees and the possibility that outdoor summer furniture will have been blown around overnight.
