Adam Lambert has expressed his love for the performance he gave at TRNSMT Festival last night as part of his headline act alongside Queen.

The American Idol star who has been touring with the band for six years now, posted a silhouette of himself on stage 'riding his bicycle' during the hit song, with the sun setting in the background.

Next to the image he wrote: "Loved our outdoor sunset performance for @trnsmtfest in Glasgow!"

Glasgow Times:

Fans commended the American for his iconic style and perfect performance.

One said: "The reviews have been spectacular & glowing, for you and the men of Queen & the production.

"Congratulations for showing the world yet again that Queen music is glorious & eternal, Brian & Roger are in fine & fabulous form, and you are indeed a "Gift From God"...from the Universe."

Another added: "Gorgeous pic Adam it was an amazing atmosphere yesterday you guys put on a spectacular show im still on a high your vocals were amazing and performance where do I start just wow."

As reported yesterday by the Evening Times, the supergroup tore up the stage as Lambert showcased his famously impressive vocal range while donning a signature flamboyant outfit that Freddie Mercury would have been proud of.

Slipping into the shoes of one of the greatest frontmen in the world is no easy feat but Lambert proved that he is the best man for the job.

Hits including Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Under Pressure and Another One Bites The Dust got the Glasgow crowd going after an impressive day of live music.
