RAINBOW Room International – Scotland’s largest salon group – has made the final in three categories at this year's British Hairdressing Awards.

To be a finalist is quite something; it takes a standout salon, a phenomenal creative talent and commitment to reach these final stages.

Dylan Brittain, from the George Square salon, finalised for the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year category. For Dylan, finalising for this award is a fantastic achievement but not something unfamiliar to him, having previously won the Scottish Hairdresser of the Year category in 2017 and 2016 with colleague and owner of Rainbow Room International’s Uddingston salon, Suzie McGill.

Himself and Suzie have also finalised for the Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the Year. They both also lead the Rainbow Room International Artistic Team and are overjoyed to have also finalised for this category too.

The Rainbow Room International team now look forward to the second round judging in September before the reputable awards ceremony in London this November.

Linda Stewart, owner of Rainbow Room International, said: "For Dylan to win the Scottish Hairdresser of The Year category again would be an amazing honour and would put him in the British Hairdressing Awards' ‘hall of fame’ for winning the category three times, which would just be unreal.

"To win the Colour Technician of the Year category would also be incredible, as our salon group is renowned for it’s colouring skills and abilities and to win the Artistic Team of the Year category would just be the cherry on top.

"At Rainbow Room International we put so much work into our Artistic Team and winning this award would be such a huge achievement for all the team, as well as the Rainbow Room International brand.”
