Annie Lennox has just made a sweet purchase on the Hollywood property ladder and it is what dreams are made of. 

The Scots singer has gone all out and grabbed the keys to a breathtaking £3.4 million cliffside escape in the Hollywood hills.

The 63-year-old has made a big step into the Hollywood spotlight with this gorgeous modern buy.

The star's purchase was revealed by property columnist Mark David announced the news on Variety, writing: "Four-time Grammy-winning Scottish singer-songwriter Annie Lennox has put down architecturally significant real estate roots in Los Angeles.

“It is a scrupulously restored and smartly expanded 1960s high-modernist pavilion designed by eminent mid-century architects."

The house which was listed by Coldwell Banker, looks out across the city and is surrounded by greenery and mountains. 

The three bedroomed house also hosts an impressive infinity pool and relaxing decking area as well as three quarters of an acre surrounfing the property.

As reported by the Evening Times, Annie was recently installed as the first female Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University.

The university first revealed back in November that the singer would become the new Chancellor.
