ONE of Glasgow's best known chippys has created a new sausage eclair dish - and its fans can't wait to try it.

The Blue Lagoon, which was visited by Justin Bieber when his tour came to the city a few years ago, revealed their new takeaway sensation on social media.

The eclair is created by first slicing a battered sausage in half with a large knife. Grated cheese is then piled into the opening before curry sauce is poured on top.

And you have the option to add gravy to make it look like a real chocolate eclair.

Blue Lagoon boss Alessandro Varese, 26, told The Scottish Sun: “We thought we should do an end of summer promotion for the customers.

“And everyone loves sausage, cheese and curry sauce so I thought why not!

“I really like chocolate eclairs so I thought we could make a sausage version of one.

“We stuck an advert online and the response has been amazing – it’s been shared all over social media.”

The video has had over 9,000 views on Facebook and attracted hundreds of comments.

One fan said: "That looks heavy bangin."

Another added: "Gravy all the way."

But not everyone appreciated the genius of the dish.

One social media user said: "Pure manky."
