Homeless young people could soon be housed in a purpose-built residential centre in Woodside.
Queen Cross Housing Association has submitted plans to build a 20-bed centre on Glenfarg Street, beside Woodside Halls.
Originally a Dispensary associated with the neighbouring Woodside Halls, the existing building became most established as social and welfare centre for the local Polish Community, after the war.

Since the welfare club fell into disuse, the building was disused and empty for a number of years before being demolished.
The homeless service would also have facilities for daytime service users if given the go ahead by Glasgow City Council planners.
Permission was previously given for 27 student flats on the site.
