ALLAN MCGREGOR Had to be alert as Dundee created a couple of chances in the first half but was untroubled thereafter as Rangers cruised to victory. Will be kept busier in Spain on Thursday night. 7

JAMES TAVERNIER Didn’t have a lot to do in a defensive sense as Rangers played on the front foot and his well taken penalty on the stroke of half-time made sure of the win. 7

NIKOLA KATIC A straightforward afternoon for the stopper as he earned another clean sheet. Cleared his lines when required and didn’t look under threat. 7

CONNOR GOLDSON Found himself up against Kenny Miller on his return to Ibrox and coped well with the former Light Blues striker. A comfortable 90 minutes and assured performance. 7

BORNA BARISIC Given the nod at left-back ahead of Jon Flanagan once again and got forward regularly. The partnership with Kent needs time to mature but this was another good showing from the Croatian. 7

LASSANA COULIBALY Malian midfielder has been a big miss for Rangers in recent weeks and he proved his worth here. Opened the scoring inside four minutes and then ran the show for the Gers. Given 55 minutes as he prepares for the Villarreal clash. 8

SCOTT ARFIELD Shrugged off a knock after a challenge from Ngwatala to set up Kent with a neat pass on the edge of the area and almost scored midway through the first half. Played his part as Rangers saw the game out with ease. 7

ANDY HALLIDAY Took over from the injured Ryan Jack in the middle of the park and was a solid, steady performer for Gerrard’s side. Picked up a few bumps and bruises but did a job for the team. 7

DANIEL CANDEIAS Grew into the game and became more of a problem for Dundee as the afternoon progressed. Always available as an out ball and was unlucky not to get an assist from another impressive showing. 8

RYAN KENT The winger has been a bit short of an end product for most of his Gers career but he was far more threatening here. Took his first Light Blues goal well as he made it 2-0 and earned a warm ovation from the crowd when replaced by Lafferty. 8

ALFREDO MORELOS Saw Coulibaly nick the ball off his toe for the first goal and was then denied by the offside flag. Had to score when set up by Candeias early in the second half before Parish saved a low effort and he headed wide. 7

Substitutes:

GLENN MIDDLETON (for Coulibaly) Added fresh energy to the Gers attack down the left flank and then made it 4-0 with a neat finish from a tight angle. 4

KYLE LAFFERTY (for Kent) Game was well won by the time he made his entrance. Denied a goal by the offside flag and then the woodwork. 4

EROS GREZDA (for Morelos) Given a 15 minute run-out as he made his Gers bow and continues to recover from an ankle injury. 3
