THE death of a young man found in a graveyard in Glasgow's East End was not suspicious, cops have revealed.

The force said a post mortem examination had now taken place on the 41-year-old. Initially his death was being treated as unexplained.

He was discovered on a grassed area in the Tullis Street Memorial Garden in Bridgeton at around 3.45pm on Tuesday, September 11.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 3.45pm on Tuesday, September 11, the body of a 41-year-old man was discovered on a grassed area on Tullis Street, Glasgow

"A post mortem examination has been carried out and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
