Commuters are being told to avoid travelling as Storm Ali continues to wreak havoc across the country.

All services from Glasgow Queen Street High Level, Glasgow Central High Level, and Edinburgh Waverley, with the exception of Queen Street to Anniesland via Maryhill are suspended.

Rail bosses have been forced to take urgent action due to multiple obstructions and overhead wire damage on these routes.

Massive queues have been reported at Buchanan bus station as workers attempt to get home.

The Killermont Street station has queues forming at the majority of stances with staff on hand to assist.
