Major Glasgow City Centre route to close overnight next week
A MAJOR City Centre route are set to be closed overnight next week.
West George Street will shut between West Nile Street and George Square from 8am on Sunday, September 23 until 6am on Tuesday, September 25.
The route will also be closed on the following dates:
- September 25 to 26 - overnight from 10pm to 6am
- September 26 to 27 - overnight from 10pm to 6am
- September 27 to 28 - overnight from 10pm to 6am
Glasgow City Council said this is to allow for a new traffic signal installation and associated road works.
Diversions will be signposted and delays should be expected for the duration of the works.
