A WOMAN has been subjected to a sexual assault on a train from Glasgow Queen Street, prompting a call for witnesses to come forward.
British Transport Police said the incident took place on board a train headed for Falkirk High station on September 9.
Shortly after 9pm, a man boarded and sat diagonally from a woman in her early twenties.
After attempting to start a conversation with her several times, he leaned over and grabbed her, before kissing her without permission.
The victim was left feeling threatened and uncomfortable.
The man - who left the train at Falkirk High - is described as being white and approximately 5 ft 11 in height. He was wearing a pink polo shirt and dark jeans.
Anyone who was on the train at the time or who saw anything is being asked to call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 - quoting 267 of September 4.
