Pupils at a South Lanarkshire school are being offered counselling following the death of an second year child.
Rachel Stevens, who was a student at St John Ogilvie in Hamilton, passed away on Friday.
The 12-year-old was found unwell at home before being rushed to Wishaw General Hospital around 7pm on Friday where she passed away.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Her school issued a statement on Tuesday stating that they have made arrangements to support the community.

Lorna Lawson, head teacher, added: "I am grateful to my colleagues, our school chaplain and others who are providing support for the young people here. I am also grateful to our pupils for looking after one another.
"For many of our young people, this may be the first time they have faced bereavement and for others this may trigger associations with previous experiences...

"Our school will be concentrating today, and over the coming weeks, on supporting our young people and staff through our own pupil support team and South Lanarkshire Council Educational Psychologists."
