AN 11-year-old girl has been hit by a car outside a high school in Jordanhill.
The alarm was raised at 8.30am this morning.
The incident is said to have taken place outside St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said the girl was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Her condition is not known at this time.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman told the Evening Times: “We received a call at 8.28am to attend a road traffic incident at Mitre Road in Glasgow.
“We dispatched an advanced paramedic and an ambulance to the scene and a child was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
