Since opening its doors, The Hydro has welcomed some of the world's biggest acts onto its stage. Here are some of the memorable moments over the last five years.
May, 2014
Prince played his first Scottish show in almost 20 years at the venue. The Hydro later paid tribute to the legendary singer when he died two years later - by turning the venue purple.
September, 2014
Still Game's run at the Hydro gave the hit BBC comedy a new lease of life. The 21 shows ran from September 19 until October 10, with the stars playing to 210,000 fans. The run made £6 million in ticket sales.
November, 2014
Glasgow was home to the 21st annual MTV EMAs with Nicki Minaj carrying out hosting duties. Performances on the night came from Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys and U2.
December, 2014
The BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards were held at the venue with Lewis Hamilton picking up the top prize.
September, 2015
Clydebank funnyman Kevin Bridges moved from the SECC's hall four to the Hydro where he played 16 sell out shows.
August, 2017
Celine Dion returned to Glasgow to play her first Scottish show in the city in 20 years.

The MOBO awards were also held twice at the venue in 2013 and 2016.
