US diner Denny's has teased Glasgow fans about their pending opening in the city.

The restaurant chain shared another image of the city yesterday on social media with the promising caption, "It's coming"

The firm, however, remain tight-lipped about the location of the new restaurant.

Glasgow Fort was one of the names at the top of the location list but no formal plans appear to have been submitted yet to the city council.

The American diner specialises in burgers, pancakes and milkshakes, and have already began hiring for their new Glasgow store.

Team members and hosts as well as cook positions have appeared on a popular job search website but there is still no indication of the Glasgow location.

The advert said: "If you think you have what it takes to be part of America's favourite diner brand then we would love to hear from you. Successful applicants will join the team of our very first restaurant in Scotland!"
